The HP Integrity servers and HP Itanium 2-based Workstations provide unparalleled performance, industry-leading scalability and expandability, and are supported by a broad range of technical independent software vendors (ISVs).

The Itanium 2-based systems are complemented by the 32-bit HP ProLiant servers, which have been enhanced with the latest Intel Xeon 'Gallatin' processor MP at speeds up to 2.8 GHz. During the 'Future of the Enterprise' road-show, Oracle will be discussing the importance and the benefits of understanding Return on Investment and the Future of IT Integration and consolidation of infrastructure for Enterprises, while HP will be focusing on the delivery of IT consolidation to the market and the joint unveiling with Intel of the new Itanium 2 server chips, code named 'Madison'.

Ferhad Patel, Strategic Relations Manager Intel Middle East & North Africa commented, 'The complimentary Xeon MP and Itanium 2 architectures address customers' server needs from top to bottom. These architectures deliver industry-leading performance, price-performance and flexibility for a broad spectrum of customers, spanning manufacturing energy, oil and gas, aviation, tourism and government and academic organisations'.

At the half day seminar, IT market leaders will share their views on enterprise computing, looking at the growing cost pressures, increased speed of change and the management of environments that are more complex, disruptive and less predictable.

'With the current economical situation IT mangers are being asked to do more with less and we at Oracle are utilising our technology infrastructure for the next era. Through the 'Future of Enterprise' road-show we are looking to bring these developments directly to those concerned managers and advising them on how to initiate cost savings and to maximise their IT systems,' commented Tarek Shahawy, Technology Manager Oracle Middle East.

'The Future of Enterprise' road-show will be held at The Inter Continental in Muscat (Oman) on Sunday 6 July, The Sheraton in Doha (Qatar) on Monday 7 July, The Inter Continental in Manama (Bahrain) on Tuesday 8 July and finally closes at the Sheraton in Kuwait City (Kuwait) on Wednesday 9 July.
