Galileo Oman honours top agents

More than 150 guests gathered at the Muscat Grand Hyatt Hotel to attend Galileo Oman's First Awards Night - the flagship event in its calendar to honour customer relationships and recognise key achievers.
Dermot Mannion, Emirates' Chief Director, Finance IT & Services, outlined Emirates' activities and initiatives before Mr Mannion, Naz Nizari, Senior GM Galileo Emirates; Habib Shahab, GM Oman United Agencies; and Fazal Muhammed Galileo International Regional Manager Middle East, presented the awards.
Edward Grauvogl, Oman Air's Director Commercial & Strategic Planning, said that under a deal signed earlier this year, Oman Air, Emirates and Oman United Agencies had joined forces to make Galileo the country's leading agency distribution channel.
Dubai-based Galileo Emirates is an Emirates Group division, and National Distribution Company for Galileo's Global Distribution System for the UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Morocco and Tunisia. It has supplied travel automation to agency partners for more than 20 years.
Ms Nizari said: "We are always innovative, determined to keep ahead of rivals, and committed to staying abreast of advances in technology, so we constantly update our products to help our agents to improve their customer service."
