With a wealth of resort facilities, Le Royal Méridien Beach Resort & Spa is being promoted as an ideal venue for a short break, offering a true holiday experience without going to an airport.

According to general manager, Pam Wilby, many UAE residents are discovering that attractions at the resort are comparable to the best around the world.

"Traditionally, people think they need to fly to a destination to have a real break, but at Le Royal Méridien Beach Resort & Spa there is something for everyone, whether they want to relax in our spa, try out parasailing or sample the international cuisine in our restaurants.

"This is the perfect time of year to escape the heat of the city for the breeze on the beach."

The Penguin Club runs throughout the day for children's activities and there is a dedicated pool for the little ones, as well as two large pools for adults.

In addition, the Caracalla Spa has introduced several new treatments including Exotics by Elemis and a weight reduction and toning Ionothermie package, and also has a series of hammam pools for perfect relaxation.

"There's tennis and squash; a fully-equipped gym with sea-views; watersports and beach volleyball; as well as our extensive landscaped gardens which guarantee room for everyone, whether they want a private spot of their own or to join friends around the pool," said Wilby.

Dining and entertainment options are equally varied, and include stylish Italian dining at Ossigeno; succulent steaks at Prime Rib; Far Eastern delicacies at Fusion; seafood at Mi Vida; Arabic cuisine at Al Khaima, or a different theme night daily at the brasserie.

"Visitors from overseas are constantly amazed at the quality of Dubai hotels, which far surpass those in many comparable destinations - and it's time residents in the UAE discovered the gems in their own back yard," concluded Wilby.
