- United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, July 02 - 2003 at 16:05
- PRESS RELEASE
The Dubai headquartered, integrated e-solutions & outsourcing services major, Netlink announced that it has recently entered into a strategic relationship with global Content Management Solutions (CMS) leader, Tridion.
Making this announcement in Dubai today, Mr. Akash Arora, Chief Technology Architect, Netlink said that as one of the leading global providers of advanced XML-based enterprise content management software, Tridion solutions create competitive advantage for enterprises by helping them make effective and efficient use of content.
The Tridion R5 platform is the only XML-compliant Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solution in the world, enabling organisations to create, manage, distribute and deliver content online. It offers a range of several high-end products for each of these processes, allowing companies to choose the software best suited to their individual requirements.
"In today's highly competitive business environment, enterprises, both big and small have to effectively communicate timely and relevant information to multiple audiences, on a daily if not hourly basis.
"Enterprises in the region too are fast realizing the importance of facilitating easy access to the right content by putting in place an effective and viable CMS framework. We are therefore extremely upbeat about the business potential for the range of Tridion solutions in the region," he added.
Since its inception in 1995, Netlink has focused on providing its customers with a range of cutting-edge integrated technology solutions that are aimed at optimizing their business resources. The company's range of diverse services include; web-services and integration; developing and marketing a range of software products; integrated marketing and new media marketing.
Additionally the company has also developed a robust outsourcing model, and undertakes turnkey technology projects, which are executed in the company's technology centres in India, United Kingdom and United States.
"As a consulting partner to Tridion, we will now be in a position to provide our regional customers with a range of total content management solutions that simplify the challenge of creating, managing, distributing and delivering complex content, while reducing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)," he added.
Echoing a similar sentiment Mr. Hans De Groot, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Tridion said that the demand for cutting-edge XML-based CMS technology across the GCC, Levant and India markets, was growing at an exponential rate.
"Our combined expertise in developing cutting-edge Internet-based technologies, coupled with our proven track record in implementing large scale projects, will bring to the regional market a complete XML-based e-business platform. This dramatically accelerates the time-to-market of our customers' online business projects, reduces implementation time and cost and thereby increases the Return-on-Investment."
Netlink had played a key role in deploying the Tridion CMS solution to manage the content for Emirates Airlines' global Internet presence.
"Under the first phase of the project, Netlink implemented the French, German and Indian websites of Emirates Airline on the Tridion platform. We are currently working on the future phases of the project," confirmed Mr. Arora.
