New choices available to car rental users include the new Hyundai Sonata, Toyota Camry, Toyota Corolla, Honda Accent and Peugeot 406.

The Toyota Landcruiser is ideal for families keen to explore Yemen's spectacular terrain, while big parties can travel in comfort in the seven-seat Suzuki XL 7.

"The new vehicles are in response to the increase we've witnessed in our long-term corporate leasing business as well as in the rise in demand for chauffeur guided tours," said Saleem Sheikh, general manager of Hertz Yemen.

Universal Rent A Car, the Hertz Yemen international franchisee, has branches in Sana'a, Sana'a International Airport and Aden. The company is part of Universal Group, one of the major players in Yemen's travel and tourism industry.
