Audi A8 official car of World Economic Forum in Jordan

12 Audi A8's were used to transport VIP delegates of the World Economic Forum 'Global Reconciliation Summit', which took place in Jordan from 21 - 23 June, 2003.

The summit was attended by Kofi Annan, Secretary-General, United Nations, New York and H.M. King Abdullah II Ibn Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

The Audi A8, symbolising unlimited luxury, power and superior performance was the ideal choice for transportation of VIPs to and from the summit venue of the Dead Sea. Faced with a varying infrastructure, dramatic changes in temperature and extensive travel time, the organisers required a premium vehicle and reliable partner to chauffeur the prestigious delegates during the convention.

Most recently in Prague, where the brand with the four ring badge was the choice for the NATO Summit and at the event marking the end of Denmark's presidency of the EU on December 12 and 13 in Copenhagen.

In addition, the new Audi A8 is the official vehicle of Dubai 2003, annual meetings Board of Governors, International Monetary Fund. 250 new A8's will be used to transport the event's VIP's around Dubai during the September event.

The new Audi A8 combines technical characteristics that set it clearly apart from its class competitors. As the brand's flagship model, it uncompromisingly demonstrates the identity of the next generation of Audi models and embodies Audi's claim of "Vorsprung durch Technik": sporting character and clear design, innovative technology and superlative quality.
