- PRESS RELEASE
Acer Computers (M.E.) Ltd. has reaffirmed its commitment to the professional PC market in the Middle East by introducing the Acer Veriton 3600G and 7600G series models.
The new Acer Veriton 3600G and 7600G series PCs are based on the most recent Intel® Pentium® 4 processors with Hyper-Threading™ technology, for the highest performance.
"In the Middle East, PC sales account for a significant amount of Acer's business. We understand the importance of releasing new models to a market that is growing quickly and has developed needs," said Krishna Murthy, General Manager, Acer Computer (M.E.) Ltd.
The Veriton 3600G and 7600G were both designed and configured by Acer to perfectly fit different company needs. "The new models are user friendly, have full multi-media functions, large mass memories and high processing speeds to manage sophisticated tasks in a short amount of time. All of these features will make them popular with decision-makers across the Middle East," said Eugene Thomas, Director, Business Development, Acer Computer (M.E.) Ltd.
The new Acer Veriton models, with Intel® Hyper-Threading™ technology, represent the natural evolution of PCs designed for optimal network use and for maximum compatibility with different company applications.
"Throughout the region there is a need for flexibility and scalability, which are features that the Veriton models provide. By introducing such high performance desktop PCs to the region, Acer is raising the standards in computing for professionals by offering reliability, connection flexibility and return on investment at a competitive price," Thomas added.
The Veriton 7600G offers optimal performance with its 800MHz system and integrated DDR400 memory (expandable to 4GB). Its mini-tower cabinet enables expansion capacity, guaranteeing system scalability to meet any future challenge. Three external and three internal storage bays allow wide storage possibilities.
Additionally, the Veriton 3600G is positioned by Acer as the perfect solution for companies going through dynamic changes and challenges. "Because people do not want to be sitting at a workstation dominated by a PC, Acer was dedicated to designing a slim and modern chassis for the Veriton 3600G which allows it to be placed vertically or horizontally. This helps employees to optimize their available space," explained Thomas.
Both series are equipped with DVMT 2.0 technology (Dynamic Video Memory Technology) that grants balanced system and graphical performance by assigning available memory.
The Veriton PCs are also equipped with six USB ports that allow the use of a wide range of connectivity options, including mobile DVD, CDRW, MP3 readers and digital photo-cameras. All USB ports observe 2.0 standard and are 40 times faster than the previous USB 1.1 - guaranteeing fast data transfer.
All Veriton series models have an on-board network card and are compatible with wireless LAN (optional) to guarantee the necessary connectivity capacity. They also include Acer LANScope that simplifies network PC and workstation management and control.
"The Veriton 3600G and 7600G are supplied with a complete program set, which can be easily managed and maintained. Based on the advantages to businesses that the PCs provide, we expects organizations of all sizes across the Middle East to experience a general improvement in productivity," said Thomas
