When discussing the role DCCI has played in the Iraqi situation, Al Mutaiwee mentioned the Iraqi Business Council which was formed by DCCI as a way to help develop commercial and economic interests of regional and international companies in Iraq, as well as to help eliminate any worries and concerns businesses may have about setting up in Iraq. DCCI fully sponsored and facilitated the establishment of the Iraqi Business Council in Dubai as a way to help achieve that goal.
Dr. Sabah Khesbak, the Vice President of the Iraqi/American Chamber of Commerce, expressed his appreciation for the role DCCI plays in improving the economic and commercial situation in Iraq to help the Iraqi people overcome these difficult times, by aiding in the rebuilding of Iraq through promoting investment opportunities amongst the local and international businesses based in the Gulf Region.

Being the third Chamber which combines American and Iraqi commercial interests, the Iraqi / American Chamber is still in the early stages of establishment. Hence Sabah Khesbak has asked for DCCI's advice with matters concerning the policies to be adopted by the newly formed Chamber, as he mentioned that DCCI was named in the United States as one of the best Arab Chambers.
Mr. Al Mutaiwee took the United Arab Emirates' Chambers as an example for a successful effective system, and explained the way it operates, pointing out that the Iraqi/American Chamber would benefit greatly from adopting a similar policy.
The Vice President of the Iraqi/American Chamber mentioned that they plan to produce a weekly newspaper to be published in Iraq in an effort to make people constantly aware of the economic and commercial developments in Iraq.
