Radisson SAS Hotel, Muscat welcomes visa changes

The Sultanate has announced a one-year multiple entry visit visa, for business people and tourists, which will allow a person to stay in Oman for up to three weeks in one visit, and allow them to return after just three weeks. The visa costs 10 Omani riyals. (US$26).

Nationals of 76 countries are eligible for the multiple entry visa, which is issued upon arrival at all land, sea, and air entry points.

The Radisson SAS Muscat is located near Muscat city centre, and the airport, in Muscat's Al Khuwair district. It features 156 first-class rooms, including 14 luxurious suites, and business class rooms. There is a 24-hour coffee shop, a specialty restaurant, two bars with live entertainment and a lobby lounge, as well as five banqueting and function rooms, ideal for product launches, training sessions, business meetings.

For a business traveller who needs to unwind after a long day, use of the swimming pool, gym, sauna, steam rooms and exclusive Beach Club is at their disposal.

Business class guests staying at the hotel are entitled to complimentary use of a meeting room for a specified period of time depending on availability. According to individual requirements packages can be tailored to accommodate all meeting room needs.

Guests staying until the end of August can take advantage of the global Radisson SAS Summer Magic offer, when guests at the property can take advantage of special prices available seven days a week, complemented by late check out, special kids' menus with 50% off, free child places and a host of other special offers on food and beverages.

Standard room rates have been slashed by up to 50% - and include a breakfast buffet! A second room comes with a further 25% reduction on the already discounted Summer Magic rates.

The Radisson SAS Hotel emerged third in a "Best Companies to Work with in 2002" survey conducted by the Oman-based monthly magazine, Business Today, in conjunction with Simpa Marketing Research and Consultancy.

The survey, used to measure job satisfaction among employees of more than 30 Oman-based companies, included empowerment, satisfaction, work/life balance, leadership, company image, career development, client service and knowledge management. The hotel, which was the highest ranking hospitality industry company, also secured third position in the 'Best company for Omanis to work', 'Best company for Expatriates' and the 'Best Company for Women' and ranked strongly in terms of job satisfaction and empowerment.
