Nokia connecting Egypt to great opportunities

Nokia foreseeing strong potential for mobile software & application development in Egypt brought together Egypt's mobile and software technology icons, international global figures as well as Egypt's software development companies and young developers in an unprecedented event to discuss the future of mobile applications and services in Egypt.

To outline the current status of the software market in Egypt, Medhat Khalil -CEO of Raya Holding - discussed the outlook of the Egyptian software and highlighted market strengths and future challenges. Moreover, Hatem Dewidar - Marketing Director of Vodafone- presented the status and future plans for mobile service offerings from Vodafone. Software development pioneers also presented to the audience landmark Egyptian software projects and success stories.

Key Nokia speakers gave technical details about Nokia development platforms and Nokia's Product and Business Development Manager, Nada Iskander, outlined the latest Nokia Product Roadmap. Finally all attendees addressed their views and concerns and also discussed prospects for future development projects and plan.
