"We now offer twice-daily flights between the two Arab capitals with convenient timings that result in quick connections to other destinations in the Gulf, the Indian Subcontinent and the Far East," said Mr. Mohamed Saleh Fakhri, Qatar Airways Commercial General Manager.

Mr. Fahkri said the doubling of the flights was celebrated during a gala dinner reception at the famed Phoenicia Hotel of Beirut.

"Qatar Airways is pleased to add these seven new flights every week starting from June 25th. It is our creed to meet the demands of our customers and the addition of these flights is a result of that effort," the Airline's Commercial General Manager added.

Qatar Airways Regional Manager Levant, Mr Hilal Al Mohannadi, stated that: "The double-daily flights represent a significant increase in the level of service Qatar Airways continues to offer to the people of Lebanon.

Service Commitment
"We have doubled the number of flights we operate from Beirut because Qatar Airways has built its reputation by offering its guests the highest levels of service, and these extra flights are part of that commitment," Mr. Al Mohannadi added.

Providing details, the Airline's Regional Manager Levant said the additional flight QR 428 takes off from Doha International Airport at 9pm, while Flight QR 429 takes off from Beirut arriving at Doha at 11.50 am.

"Consequently, we now have flights leaving Beirut for Doha at 9am and at 4.15pm every day," said Mr Al Mohannadi.

He said the timings of these flights have been chosen carefully to conveniently and seamlessly fit in with onward connections to rest of the Gulf, the Indian Subcontinent and the Far East.

In-flight Excellence
"Convenience in timings is not the only thing we offer. Qatar Airways prides itself in offering convenience during the flight with comfortable seating and excellent service. Each seat has a video facility that offers the latest in entertainment, as well as phone and fax services.

Building on a reputation of premium customer service, Qatar Airways has launched an aggressive growth plan to ensure that it can offer customers a greater choice of destinations, more flights, and the latest in-flight products and services.
