- United Arab Emirates: Sunday, July 13 - 2003 at 10:06
- PRESS RELEASE
Danat Dubai Cruises, the Gulf Region's premier operator of luxurious cruising vessels, has added another vessel to its expanding portfolio with the introduction of the 'Arabian Discoverer'.
The 'Arabian Discoverer', which will take to the waters in early July, is designed to be the finest in Arabian cruising dhow hospitality. Licensed for up to 200 people, guests will experience the uniqueness of Arabian hospitality and sample a large selection of Arabic foods and drinks that reflect the diversity of cuisine from across the region, allowing a voyage of tastes from across the Middle East.
"The new vessel will perfectly complement our other cruising options," explained Chris Anns, General Manager of Danat Dubai Cruises. "With a main deck that is fully air-conditioned and a superb open top deck, guests can drink in the stunning views along the Creek whilst they relax in Arabian-style comfort."
The 'Arabian Discoverer' will also offer a unique cruise heading not only towards the Arabian Sea but also under Maktoum Bridge and Garhoud Bridge.
While the 'MV Danat Dubai' will still operate its daily Afternoon Sundowner Cruises and the Evening Dinner Cruises with live entertainment featuring a resident pianist and belly dancer, dance floor and international buffet, the 'Arabian Discover' will only operate Evening Dinner Cruises daily with a traditional Arabic theme from décor, staff, menu and traditional Arabian service.
"We also anticipate that the 'Arabian Discoverer' will prove a popular choice for wedding parties and special occasions where the client wants a true taste of Arabia coupled with 5-star hospitality and service," added Anns.
