LG Global VP Attends Regional Mid East Strategy Meet

LG Electronics' Global Vice President for Digital Appliances Marketing, Mr. Michael Ahn, recently visited the Middle East to review regional targets and marketing strategy for the division.
"We are fortunate that on this occasion, Mr. Ahn devoted some of his valuable time to join us and review this region's performance."
In 2002, LG's Digital Appliance division increased global sales by 21.7 percent over the previous year to US$ 5.4 billion due in part to the popularity of its 'Intellowasher' washing machines and side-by-side refrigerators.
"As part of broader plans to be the top consumer appliances company by 2005, LG is putting special emphasis on strengthening its digital appliance business in the Middle East and Mr. Ahn's presence is testimony to the importance placed by headquarters on the region," said Shin.
