United Colors of Benetton opens new store at Al Ghurair City

At a press conference held yesterday to celebrate the addition of a brand new store in Al Ghurair City to its network of outlets in the UAE, United Colors of Benetton showcased its vibrant collection for Summer 2003.

The opening of Benetton's new outlet was attended by Mrs. Raja Al Gurg, managing director; Mrs Maryam Al Gurg, director and Ajai Dayal, general manager, retail and marketing, at the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group - sole distributor of Benetton apparel in the UAE

Mrs. Raja Al Gurg, managing director Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group, who officially inaugurated Benetton's new outlet said: "With the inauguration of this new store at the prestigious Al Ghurair Centre, Benetton is growing rapidly to serve it's UAE customers and clients better, especially with the addition of our ever-colourful collection."

"The entire range is made in Italy and it brings a taste of the pure rich Italian culture to the UAE. This is our main differentiator and it helps strengthen our positioning strategy in the local markets here. The new store adds to our network of six stores spread across the UAE making us now present in all the prime shopping centres." says Raja Al Gurg.

Ajai Dayal general manager retail and marketing, Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group, said "Naturally, the location of the store is fundamental to its success, and we are always looking at ways to enhance our customers' shopping experience. The store is vibrant, eye catching and suitably located. We have made the best use of the large space we have, setting it inwards to allow customers to leisurely and comfortably glide through the collection. "

"The store is dressed in a dynamic manner that enhances Benetton's vibrancy as a brand. The multi-colour range we have especially picked for our UAE customers are styles that have a cool, hip and trendy fashion look. Our collection is extensive and wide-ranging and we have something for very fashion conscious customer in our store. " added Mr. Dayal

"The store contains a vast collection of clothes for kids, teenagers, adults, maternity and a range of basic day-to-day accessories including shoes, bags, belts, wallets, and key chains" as shown by Anil Nair, division manager.

The new Benetton outlet is conveniently located on the mall's ground floor, diagonally opposite Gerards Café - near gate number four in Al Ghurair City.
