Iranian views for developing economic cooperation with Dubai

Iran has assured that it is dedicated to consolidate the economic cooperation with Dubai, in order to develop business and diversify its tracks and programs between the two sides.
The two guests suggested facilitating meetings between economic figures in Dubai and Iranian Ministers determined to participate in their country's delegations taking part in Dubai 2003 meetings being held in September in Dubai.
From his side, Al Mutaiwee assured the continuation of the mutual economic cooperation between the two countries, in addition to providing all that is necessary to elevate this cooperation to the highest levels.
It is worth mentioning that Iran is one of the primary commercial partners with the U.A.E, as the bilateral economic and commercial relations between the two countries experienced a great development in the past few years, where the total trade exchanged through Dubai's harbors during 2001 amounted to 12 billion AED, compared to 4.3 billion AED in 1997, achieving an increment of 169% in just 5 years , with an annual growth percentage of 35,8%.
