- PRESS RELEASE
Dubai-headquartered International Expo-Consults (IEC), part of the giant Falaknaz Group, is investing in Mumbai's event management company Dimension Four (India) Pvt. Ltd., to launch a Sign & Graphic Imaging India trade show in the Indian commercial capital.
"The outdoor advertising markets of the Sub-continent are booming as television viewership frangmentation takes hold," said Mohammed Falkanaz, Vice Chairman, IEC. "Industry analysts put annual sector growth in the Indian market alone at 23%. It is a very vibrant sector which currently has no trade forum of its own. We have entered into this joint venture to plug this gap."
The largest trade show for the sign, graphic imaging and screen printing industry in the Middle East and Africa region was established in 1999 by IEC.
"We are bringing our knowledge of these sectors to the partnership while Dimension Four is inputing its local expertise," said Falaknaz.
Other IEC shows in Dubai include Theme Parks & Fun Centres show, Sportex Middle East, Chemtex and Corrosion and Glass, Ceramics Minerals and Mining, Automotive Aftermarket Middle East which also has an Africa edition in Kenya.
News of the new Indian trade show was announced in Dubai yesterday at the Sign & Graphic Imaging Middle East 2002 exhibition, which ends today at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The show is the largest-ever in the series with exhibitors from 25 countries spanning two DWTC halls.
