Hertz enhances support for Middle East Franchisees

Hertz, the world's largest car rental company, has appointed Christian Weber to the position of Middle East Franchisee Director.

Weber, who has been with Hertz for 32 years, will assist in overseeing the smooth functioning of the car rental company's franchise locations across 11 countries in the Middle East and will be reporting directly to Richard Hillman, Director, Franchise Operations, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

"Hertz believes the Middle East has enormous potential as a tourist destination, which makes the region a priority in plans to develop our franchise network," Weber said.

"Part of my responsibilities as Middle East Franchisee Director include helping the different franchisees utilise the strength of the Hertz name," he said.
