- PRESS RELEASE
Next week, on May 15th, Dell opens in Dubai its first authorised training centre for Middle East in response to growing demand for IT education in the region. Dell Education Services (DES) has responded to customers' requests and developed a specific offer for Middle East organisations.
Dell customers in the Middle East consider IT training a critical component of their investment to ensure value for money but the lack of regional training has been a barrier. Dell's offer has been developed in response to customer demand from all sectors including government, oil and gas, large enterprise, manufacturing, financial services and education.
Middle Eastern customers can now benefit from programmes run by trainers familiar with their local economy and country, and access a convenient regional facility. Dell's aim is to provide a service that is right for the individual customer, at a time and place that is most convenient for them.
"We are seeing Middle Eastern businesses looking again at technology investment - but with an even sharper focus on ensuring impact and value for money. Training staff on how to use new technology ensures maximum return on investment from day one. Historically many of our customers who wanted Dell training didn't undertake it because sending staff to Europe was too great an obstacle. We are proud to be able to deliver Dell Education Services training right here in our region. Customers want locally available facilities and trainers that are familiar with the region's markets and business landscape. By providing regionally-appropriate, cost and time effective training we're making that possible," said Mo Laher, Head of Services, Dell Middle East.
