Gemalto reinforces its presence in the Middle East with new office in Riyadh

Gemalto, specialist in digital security, officialised the opening of its new office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia this week, to support the region's strategic growth and meet increasing market demand for digital security solutions.

The opening ceremony took place on May 24th at the Al Faisaliah hotel in Riyadh and gathered over 50 Gemalto customers.

Reflecting the broad scope of the company's activities in Saudi Arabia, the ceremony was attended by government officials and representatives of mobile operators, banks, corporate IT security leaders as well as key local partners.

"With the opening of our new Riyadh office, we are showing the commitment to bolster our presence in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East region," commented Hisham Surakhi, Director of Gemalto Saudi Arabia.

"At Gemalto, we believe in proximity - in being close to our clients, being on hand when we're needed, and standing by them to make sure their programs succeed. It's a means of reinforcing the many ties with our customers here and serving them better." he added.
