Bahrain Property Development Association delegation visits Ministry of Energy

Board members of the Bahrain Property Development Association (BaPDA), one of the country's leading organizations of property development professionals, had a meeting with Minister of Energy Dr. Abdul Hussain Bin Ali Mirza at the Ministry's headquarter.
Mr. Aaref Hejres, BaPDA's Chairman, has emphasized on the importance of communication with the government body for property developers especially Ministry of Energy, Works, Housing and Municipalities and Urban Planning.
Further to this, Mr. Hejres said that BaPDA alongside the mentioned ministries are working on revising the property laws available in Bahrain and working towards upgrading them up to world's standards.
Further discussions included the property development sector and ways of bringing to Bahrain the best of technology in regards of electricity and water supplies.
Present at the meeting along with Mr. Aaref Hejres, Chairman of BaPDA were Dr. Hassan Al Bastaki, Vice Chairman, Mr. Maher Al Shaer.
BaPDA was formed earlier this year with a vision to be a nationally and internationally recognized property development association for the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The association fosters cooperation, fair trade practices and integrity among its members, and is a platform for members to liaise with the government authorities in forming best practice policies relating to the industry.
Many of the leading development companies in the Kingdom are members of the association with an elected Board of Directors headed by the Chairman of the Board, Mr. Aaref Hejres.
BaPDA is the first of its kind in Bahrain and is working diligently towards forming amicable business ties among the members along with a specific focus on various pertinent issues like eco-friendly construction, green building construction concepts, productivity and quality optimization.
As Chairman of the Board of BaPDA, Mr. Aaref Hejres remarked, "BaPDA was formed as a core body of professionals to support and guide the extremely important industry of property development, and uphold the efforts to rejuvenate it through ethical practices and services."
