HP re-certifies its Channel Partners across the ME at annual Bootcamp

At the HP (NYSE:HPQ) annual Bootcamp held at the Fairmont Hotel in Dubai this week, the Channel Partners from around the region where offered the opportunity to re-certify and to expand their sales and technical skills at the expense of HP.
Over 250 channel partners from as far as [Egypt] and [Jordan] attended the event wishing to learn more about HP's latest technology and to be ready for the launch of the 'Business Partner Programme' opening in September 2003. During the event HP spokespeople from around the region discussed covered key subjects, which spanned Industry Standard Servers, Business Critical Server Solutions and Enterprise Storage Solutions.
The HP Certified Professional programme is structured with four certification focus areas: sales, pre-sales, integration and operating systems. Under each certification focus area, there are increasing levels of achievement that the channel partners may pursue in the technology of their choice.
"For HP we feel that it is very important that all our channel partners are introduced to the full specifications of our products, as this in turn improves the total customer experience," said Joseph Hanania, Regional General Manager HP Middle East. "The success of this event is evident with registrations being in excess of 250 attendees. This shows that our Channels are as committed as HP is to providing the best services and solutions to our customers."
The worldwide HP Certified Professional tracks provide the individual sales and technical IT professional with a comprehensive programme designed to validate skills, increase return on investment and help in meeting business goals.
