Wataniya Telecom launches Kuwait's first movie news service for mobile phones

To activate their subscription to Action movie news, Action subscribers can simply send a request by SMS or log onto the 'Funtec' website http://www.wataniya.com/funtec so that they can start receiving movie previews by MMS on their mobile handsets. The website also offers subscribers the option to access the movie news services online.

Action customers today can access movie news, wallpapers and screensavers, Arabic comics, cartoons and horoscopes, send and receive Photo Messaging (also known as MMS), compose and send greeting cards, and access the mobile Internet and their email accounts (from Hotmail, MSN and other popular providers). Between 1st July and 1st October 2003, Wataniya post paid and pre-paid "Xpress" customers with GPRS and MMS featured mobiles will be able to access all Action services with unlimited service for a special promotional price.
