Intertec has many milestones since it started operations in 1991 and the corporate re-launch in its second decade of operations is another landmark, said Naresh Kothari, Managing Director, Intertec Systems. "This re-launch was many months in planning and is based on a comprehensive examination of every facet of our operation.

"Intertec today is a team of over 120 IT professionals. It represents major global IT vendors and through its dedicated software development arm, New Technology Systems LLC., develops innovative solutions for various sectors. Intertec is constantly looking to extend its products, solutions and services portfolios to harness the benefits of evolving technologies. This aspect of moving with the technology is critical for our continuous improvement and growth," Kothari said.

The first stage in the corporate re-launch is today's unveiling of the new company logo and website. The site has been designed to highlight Intertec's capabilities in providing businesses comprehensive solutions for their IT requirements. Intertec solutions range includes, among others, asset lifecycle management, contact/call center management, knowledge management, systems management, security solutions, financial management, hardware and networking.

The website also details the company's alliances and showcases some of its most unique projects for diverse businesses. Intertec's customer base, covering the UAE and India, today exceeds 500. According to the Intertec managing director, with the growth the company has achieved in the last decade, the need now is for Intertec to cross regional and geographical barriers and bring in some rapid changes to position itself as a global IT solutions company.

"In the GCC region, the plans are to establish a network of distributors/re-sellers for Intertec's application software and IT solutions business. We also plan to soon start appointing these distributors/resellers - beginning with Bahrain and Qatar and subsequently expanding to other GCC countries," Kothari said.
