Offshore Middle East 2013 to discuss conference topics and announces call for papers open

The Advisory Board of Offshore Middle East met in May to discuss the conference topics which will form the 2013 Conference, to take place in Doha, Qatar on 21-23 January 2013. The Offshore Middle East Call for Papers is now open, with a cut off date to submit your abstract of 22 November 2011.

In addition, Offshore Middle East has announced a new member to its growing Advisory Board. Mr. Mohammad Abdul-Wahid, of Saudi Aramco has joined the likes of Chairman Mubarak A. Al-Hajri, Operations Manager, Offshore Fields, Qatar Petroleum, and members from such influential local and international organizations as Qatar Petroleum, TOTAL E&P Qatar, Qatar Shell Service Company WLL, Occidental Petroleum of Qatar, Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Co., GDF Suez, ExxonMobil and RasGas.

Offshore Middle East 2013 will gather over 40 speakers from leading organizations around the world expected to present the very latest knowledge and technology within the oil & gas exploration and production industry.

After recently announcing the inclusion of a Gas Industry Operations track at Offshore Middle East 2013, the Advisory Board will soon provide further information regarding the proposed session topics that will form the conference program once the Call for Papers closes in November 2011.

The Advisory Board also confirmed their next meeting will take place in January 2012, to discuss the abstracts, and with the aim of issuing the preliminary conference program shortly after.
