The expansion of the Dubai-based company - which provides Sun partners with a number of critical services, including pre-sales technical support, training, marketing, plus high-level product service and technical support - adds a new layer of partner services for resellers across the Middle East and provides them with direct link to a team of specialist sales and configuration experts.

'By extending our network into these territories, Tech Access will further build and strengthen Sun resellers' position in the Middle East, through the provision of on-site marketing and technical support,' said Shomail Ghalib, managing director, Tech Access.

'Providing support at a local level gives us the chance to help resellers identify new business opportunities, offer higher levels of product service and ultimately increase the overall success of their organizations,' added Ghalib.

Tech Access has appointed three seasoned professionals to separately cover the new territories. Tarek Hindi, David Alessi, and Saad Tazi will be responsible for the Egyptian, Saudi Arabian and Moroccan offices, respectively.

'The value we add to Sun's partners comes from our local knowledge and in-depth technological expertise, and I'm very confident we have selected the right people for the roles,' concluded Ghalib.

As well as in-country support, the offices will provide services for resellers in neighboring territories. The Morocco office, for example, will also serve Mauritania, Algeria and Tunisia.

In-country executives expressed confidence that the investment by Tech Access will speed up the sales process. 'One of the biggest advantages for resellers will be having pre-sales advice from us when they need it and where they need it. Our support will enable them to make decisions faster and reduce their time to market,' said David Alessi, country manager, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Tech Access.

Tech Access' partner network has grown rapidly in recent months, to include some of the leading technology companies in the Middle East. In Egypt, partners include Raya Integration and Promise Services, while the Saudi Arabian network includes Jeraisy Computer and Communication Services, Moammar Information Systems, M.M. Al-Rumaih Establishment, Arabic Computer Systems Ltd and Abdulla Fouad Co Ltd. Current partners in Morocco include Ib-Maroc.com S.A.
