Samsung hosts 'Regional Marketing Summit 2003' for its distributors

Samsung, the global leader in digital convergence technology recently hosted its 'Regional Marketing Summit 2003' for distributors from across the Middle East.

The summit served as a platform to share best practices and outline the strategy and direction of the company for financial year 2003-2004.

Key Samsung officials from the company's headquarters in Korea representing the Air-conditioner, Refrigerator, Microwave, Washing Machine and Vacuum Cleaner divisions provided the distributors with an in-depth insight into their respective product segments.

Addressing the summit Mr. D.K.Byeon, President Samsung Gulf Electronics, said that, "Our objective in conducting regional marketing summit is to bring our distributors together in order to share best practices and success stories, increase product knowledge and also elaborate on the company's plans for the year. This summit was in keeping with our wider objective of providing excellent customer service through knowledgeable distributors."
