Wataniya brings the best of e-Cards to Kuwaiti mobile phones

Wataniya Telecom launched today BlueMountain Arts e-cards as part of its on-going rollout of Action services, allowing its subscribers to send and receive electronic cards on their MMS-enabled mobile handsets.

Blue Mountain is the most popular and leading global e-cards (internet based greeting cards) service used around the world to send greeting cards to email accounts. Wataniya Telecom's Action will now offer BlueMountain's library of thousands of e-cards and make them available for sending on any occasion by customers with Action to any mobile or email in the world.

Fuad Al Ablani, Assistant GM, Wataniya Telecom said: "This is another first in the Middle East for Wataniya Telecom. BlueMountain Art's is the leading eCard supplier on the internet and we are pleased to extend tour customers the ability to select and send the dynamic and wide range of greeting cards BMA offers. By simply logging on to our Funtec website, Action subscribers can choose from thousands of Blue Mountain e-cards in various categories and send them to the mobile phones of their friends, colleagues, and loved ones in Kuwait."

With the new Action 'Blue Mountain' service-which can be accessed through the 'Funtec' website http://www.wataniya.com/funtec-Wataniya Telecom adds a new dimension to its Action subscribers, one that translates their emotions and words into images and multimedia e-cards, designed by professional e-cards artists, and shared with a community of MMS-enabled phone users in Kuwait.

Between 1st August and 1st October 2003, Wataniya post paid and pre-paid "Xpress" customers with GPRS and MMS featured mobiles will be able to access all Action services with unlimited service for a newly introduced promotional price.
