The Empire Brunei invites Middle East journalists to contribute to new website

Following the considerable success of the launch of its new website The Empire Hotel & Country Club is inviting journalists and travel writers from the Middle East to submit articles for the new media section.
"Since the official launch of The Empire Hotel and Country Club's new website in May 2003, statistics reported from the reliable Deep Metrix LiveStats has shown that the new site is an outstanding success with a lot of traffic in its first month. The total number of visits for our first month of operation stood at 12,101 persons with 1,178,175 hits and a total of 76,855 pages were visited." He added.
The media section comprises the latest press releases and articles and a photo gallery with high-resolution photographs for downloading. Other interesting features are information on the latest happenings at the hotel, an up-to-date list of movies including a synopsis of each movie, a special section for Country Club Members and slide shows.
The website will be an ongoing project with regular updates on events, promotions and highlights while at the same time additional features being added on to keep guests interested. Future plans include virtual landscape tours, monthly housekeeping tips, monthly recipes, regular contests and more.
