Launching of Bahrain International Motorsport & Automobile Show

The name of the event will be BAHRAIN INTERNATIONAL MOTORSPORT & AUTOMOBILE SHOW and the duration of the initial term for the joint venture is for a period of six annual events to be held during the years 2004 to 2009.

The BAHRAIN INTERNATIONAL MOTORSPORT & AUTOMOBILE SHOW shall be held concurrently with the Bahrain Formula One Grand Prix to capitalize from the business opportunities presented by this event and to differentiate BIMAS from any other Automobile event held in the region. The first event has been tentatively scheduled for 1st to 4th April 2004 to coincide with the first Bahrain Formula One Grand Prix event subject to official confirmation.

The BAHRAIN INTERNATIONAL MOTORSPORT & AUTOMOBILE SHOW will be held at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre and will promote Motorsport and Automobile activities together with road and vehicles safety in the region as well as trade in Automobiles, Automotive, Accessories, Spare Parts, Garage Equipment and Supplies to the local and regional automobile community.

The patronage for this event will be announced very soon and the Organizers will invite celebrities and experts from the automobile trade and motorsport community to join hands and share their experience and resources in the establishment of this high-profile event.
