United Arab Emirates' Central Bank selects Sakhr Software document management solution

The Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates and Sakhr Software, the Arabic software giant, have signed an agreement under which Sakhr Software will install its comprehensive electronic document management, indexing and archiving system, ArabDox, at the Central Bank.
"This agreement is confirmation of the Central Bank's commitment to the deployment of cutting-edge technologies and solutions to address its pressing need for an electronic document management system that will manage the enormous amount of documents and files generated by the bank, as well as provide prompt and easy access to this information when necessary, from any location at any time," said the IT manager of Central Bank.
Under the terms of the agreement, Sakhr Software will deploy a comprehensive solution, comprising servers, storage devices and scanners, as well as its leading document retrieval, archiving and management system, ArabDox.
Fahad Al-Sharekh expressed his pleasure with the agreement, which reflects the importance of Arabic solutions and technologies for the optimization of performance for different Arab organizations and institutions. "We are excited by this agreement, as our long-standing expertise, extending over 20 years, in the field of Arabic solutions and our pioneering technologies will allow the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates, a shining model for all other Arab banks, to move its various departments to an electronic platform, thereby significantly cutting down the amount of paper generated and optimizing performance," said Fahad Al-Sharekh.
"This agreement is an continuation of our success in deploying state-of-the-art technologies and solutions at various governmental departments and organizations across the United Arab Emirates," Al-Sharekh added.
Reiterating the Central Bank's commitment and strategy to maintain the highest quality standards, IT Projects Manager at the Central Bank, stated, "In seeking only the highest caliber technologies for the aim of optimizing efficiency and enhancing performance, the Central Bank chose Sakhr Software, in light of its outstanding expertise in this domain, as well as its leading technologies and solutions in electronic document management systems."
