Lebanon's Jan-July industrial exports rise 5.9%

The Lebanese Industry Ministry has revealed that the country's industrial exports grew by 5.9% in the January-July period, compared to the same period of last year, The Daily Star has reported. Industry minister Vrej Sabounjian has said that the figures show the great potential and perseverance of the Lebanese industrial sector, irrespective of the difficulties it encounters. Total industrial exports up to July of this year hit $2.42bn from $1.929bn in the same period of last year.
