Lebanon's leading An-Nahar Newspaper & KnowledgeView sign a wide-ranging contract agreement

An-Nahar is the leading Arabic daily newspaper in Lebanon, first published 70 years ago, KnowledgeView Ltd, with head office in London and offices in few Arab capitals including Beirut, is the technology leader for developing Arabic newspaper systems.
Mr. Gebran Tueni, Publisher and chief Editor of An-Nahar, stated at the signing ceremony: "We are pleased to conclude this agreement with KnowledgeView, following extensive tests and discussions, lead by our Administrative Manager Naji Tueni. This agreement is part of our plan to keep An-Nahar at the forefront of Arabic newspaper systems, to provide our readers with the editorial quality they are accustomed to from An-Nahar, not only on paper but on Web and other electronic platforms".
Dr. Ali Al-Assam, Managing Director of KnowledgeView, added: "We are proud to have signed with such an established publisher as An-Nahar. The technical teams of An-Nahar and KnowledgeView will be working together over the next few weeks to provide the first editorial system of its kind for a leading Lebanese newspaper. This month we have also signed with the Washington Post in the USA for a RAPID Browser system, it is no coincidence that two great newspaper institutions are moving along similar lines for modernisation of their editorial systems".
