Expanding the City Centre
The rapid expansion in Dubai's retail sector continues, with Deira City Centre opening another 30,000 square feet of space. Dubai ranks third in the world in terms of per capita retail space, after the US and Singapore, with total gross leasable area in shopping malls now at 6 million square feet.
