Parsons is pleased to announce that it is participating in Airport Evolution Middle East 2011. Organized by Global Transport Forum, this event takes place October 25 - 26 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Mark Skjervem, Parsons Vice President and International Sector Manager for Aviation, will give a presentation entitled "Delivering Exceptional Quality" and will moderate the panel discussion "How to improve agility and flexibility in planning, operations, and management."

Airport Evolution Middle East 2011 brings together government bodies, civil aviation authorities, airport operators, airlines, investors, advisers, and the industry's leading suppliers to discuss the challenges—and the immense long-term benefits—of efficiently delivering the region's ongoing, large-scale airport development projects.

"Quality is one of our core values; we are committed to delivering quality services to our customers, and we meet the mutually agreed-to requirements the first time. Our skill in designing and constructing more than 400 airports in 34 countries has allowed us to grow along with the industry, and we are delighted to have the opportunity to bring our experts to aviation projects in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries," said Guy Mehula, Parsons MENA+ President.

Parsons has been working in the MENA+ region (Middle East, North Africa, and the northern Mediterranean Sea border countries) for more than 60 years and has offices in the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Rome, Istanbul, and Athens.

Parsons' portfolio of ongoing projects in the MENA+ region includes major highways, bridges, rail and transit, airports, ports, water infrastructure, plus hospitals, public schools, universities, mosques, and other public buildings.

Parsons, celebrating more than 65 years of growth in the engineering and construction industry, is a leader in many diversified markets with a focus on infrastructure, environmental, and defense/security.

Parsons delivers design/design-build, program/construction management, professional services, and innovative alternative delivery solutions to federal, regional, and local government agencies, as well as private industrial customers worldwide.
