Emaar Properties, the leading property developer in the Middle East, has introduced its key developments to a delegation of German media and tourism industry representatives.

The company's involvement formed part of an annual destination workshop, which was organised by FVW, a major travel magazine in Germany.

The event was sponsored by the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing and is part of an ongoing effort to promote Dubai as a top class tourism destination and create increased awareness of the emirate's key attractions.

'Dubai's reputation as a tourism, leisure and business destination is unrivalled and EMAAR is contributing to developing and enhancing that reputation.

'By offering freehold property investment in Dubai, EMAAR is allowing people from around the world to make Dubai a home base or a permanent holiday destination. It is important to highlight this to global key markets such as Germany,' said Mansour Al Othaimin, Corporate Director, Sales and Marketing, EMAAR.

Among the developments that were introduced by EMAAR were Dubai Marina, the landmark waterfront development situated in the new growth district of Dubai; Emirates Hills, the flagship golf estate development; and Burj Dubai the world's tallest tower, a city within a city and EMAAR's most ambitious project to date.

Also featured was Arabian Ranches, the unique golf, equestrian and residential community which includes Gazelle, a community within the Arabian Ranches development with luxurious attached villas, incorporating design elements from traditional Arabic, Spanish, Western and Contemporary styles.

Surrounding Montgomerie Golf course, Emaar developed what is known as 'Emirates Living'. The Meadows, The Springs, Hattan Homes and The Lakes rental community are set amongst lush landscaped greenery, lakes and golfing greens and are synonymous with Emaar's vision of creating lifestyles and communities.

The Greens, affordable apartments available through a "Rent-to-Own' scheme, are adjacent to the Emirates Hills Golf Course and EMAAR Towers in downtown Dubai, complete the current portfolio.
