Links completes corporate solutions chain in agency tie-up with UAE-owned company

  • PRESS RELEASE

Links Corporate Solutions has established itself as the first 'one-stop shop' for companies and individuals seeking to set up business in Dubai.

Launched last year to provide a comprehensive package of corporate services for organisations in the Gulf region, Links has been retained by a 100 per cent UAE-owned company to act as sponsor or agent for new businesses being established in Dubai.

Its appointment as managing agents for commercial brokers, LCB, means that Links Corporate Solutions has full power of attorney to complete the official procedures for companies getting started in the Emirate.

"One of the major strengths of this new agency agreement is our ability to offer client companies full access to authorised signatories on a 'round the clock' basis," said John Martin St.Valery, director of Links Corporate Solutions (www.linkscorporatesolutions.com).

"At the same time, we can assist international companies establishing a business connection with the Emirate of Dubai to make a choice that's right for them."

The options for foreign companies supplying goods or services from abroad, without establishing a physical presence in Dubai, include the appointment of a commercial agent or distributor.

Those requiring a physical presence to carry out their business can establish a representative or branch office with 100 per cent foreign ownership, set up an LLC with a maximum of 49 per cent foreign equity, or introduce a professional or consultancy business under a local license issued by the Government of Dubai.

Links Corporate Solutions also offers full support for companies seeking to establish 100% foreign-owned business ventures in one of Dubai's various Free Zone facilities.

Established last December, Links has developed regional commercial partnerships with a number of service-driven organisations to provide its clients with a range of corporate services. These include employee benefits such as end of service indemnity funding,
corporate training, and generic corporate services such as legal, accounting, advertising and public relations.

"We've all been in situations when we're asked to recommend a good lawyer, advertising agency or accountant," said company director, Nicholas Hopwood. "Everyone knows someone. The problem is, how to tap that resource without creating yet another directory."

He added: "Our philosophy is to deliver innovative, relevant and cost efficient services to forward thinking organisations by linking them with the best providers of the products and services they require."

Links also provides fee-based training for relevant personnel to assist in the introduction of the corporate solutions offered.
