Pertamina restarts Iraq exploration

Indonesian state oil giant Pertamina is set to restart oil and gas exploration in Iraq, said a company statement. It plans to invest USD24m in the Western Desert Block. The contract was interupted by the US-led invasion of Iraq earlier this year. There is a USD16m, two-year extension option.
