Sultan Bin Sulayem inaugurates offices of Danube, one of the largest building material company in the UAE

Mr. Sultan Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman of Dubai Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation inaugurated offices of Danube in Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority (JAFZA) today in the presence of Mr. Rizwan Sajan, Managing Director, Danube and Mr. Anis Sajan, Director, Danube accompanied by senior officials of JAFZA and Danube.
JAFZA witnessed a huge growth last year and this year represented by the increment of the number of global and local companies to reach to more than 2400 company from Worldwide.
JAFZA is always keen to offer the best unique investment opportunities for both local/ international companies and foreign investors who wish to develop business in the region. It provides best services and facilities to promote and market products around-the-world through constant relation with companies by meeting their needs, searching opportunities to promote them in global markets through participation in international exhibitions. JFZA also acts as a trade and distribution center for companies in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Far East Asian Markets.
Al Danube, one of the largest building material suppliers in the UAE have shifted their offices in Jebel Ali occupying over 225,000 square feet of land which comprise of their offices, warehouse and factory. They also celebrated completion of ten years of the company's establishment.
"My brother Anis and I established Danube in November 1993 with a bare minimum capital but numerous ideas and aspirations. My wide contacts with the building material industry all over the world helped me take the company places and as we speak Danube has contributed in most of the major projects in UAE like, Emaar projects, Burj Al Arab, Shangrila Hotel, Grand Hyatt to name a few," said Mr. Rizwan Sajan, Managing Director, Danube.
Mr. Sajan, added, "Dubai, the city that feats to human excellence have been a superb platform for our business. Booming economy and progressive business strategies of the emirate has helped us grow in leaps and bounds from workforce of two to 250 in past ten years and addition of various outlets in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Muscat."
Danube, pioneers in the field of building material have been the trendsetters in the industry, they have added new dimensions to the UAE markets by being the first company to have a one stop shop for building materials by housing more than 10,000 products under one roof.
In the company's quest to exceed customer satisfaction they provide value added solutions and service to the clients. The service comprise of providing tailor made products to the local joineries, which includes veneering, melamine, lacquering, post forming, cut to size panels and much more. The hi-tech machinery installed in the Jebel Ali factory will help Danube take a quantum leap into the industry.
While discussing the future of the company, Mr. Sajan said, "After proving our excellence in the UAE we have plans to capture the Middle Eastern region. The first step in this direction is opening offices in Muscat and the other countries to follow."
He Further Added, "We intend to upgrade the retail environment of the UAE to the best available in any part of the world, therefore, plans to establish hypermarkets in the country. I am confident that this concept will revolutionize the way people shop for their dream homes".
A grand party and celebration in the evening later followed the inauguration; to share the moments were present a large number of prominent businessman and professionals from the building material industry.
