Parsons wins PMC contract for Shamkha South project in UAE

Parsons announced that it has been awarded a project management consultancy (PMC) contract by Abu Dhabi General Services PJSC (Musanada) for Shamkha South Development's infrastructure. Located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Shamkha South Development is an area situated approximately 12 km west of Abu Dhabi International Airport, and it comprises some 3,980 ha of previously undeveloped land allocated for the construction of 12,460 villas for UAE citizens, along with a central business district and various community facilities.
Musanada's CEO H.E. Mohammed K. Al Mehairi, stated, "We are pleased to welcome Parsons to the Musanada family. The announcement of such a strategic partnership is a testament of our commitment to support the government in providing the people of Abu Dhabi with the best quality of life in line with its aim to become one of the top five governments of the world."
