Swift Freight celebrates 14 years of operation

From humble beginnings in 1989, Swift Freight International, one of the Middle East's leading freight forwarders & logistics service providers celebrated 14 years of operation this September, 2003.
Hosted at the Rob Roy Hotel due to it's extensive conference facilities and renowned service levels, the theme for this years conference was 'Accountability & Change'. Attended by over 30 of Swift's key management personnel as well as business partners, the conference consisted of 3 intensive days of presentations, meetings & training seminars.
Of significant importance is the alteration to the organization chart. Mr. B.Rajagopalan is newly designated as Managing Director, Group & Mr. Walter Pereira is newly designated as Executive Director, Group. These changes have been effected in order to further streamline operations and maintain greater control through its vast global network.
The awards ceremony on the final day of the conference was attended by several guests and supporters of Swift Freight International. The award for Most Proactive Manager was presented to Mr. Darren Brown, General Manager, Swift Kenya for outstanding performance and high quality service levels.
Additional outcomes of the conference were increased service quality & operational levels as well as expanded trade routes.
"We have learnt our strengths and our weaknesses. It is now time to eliminate these weaknesses one by one. That's what this conference is all about." Says Chairman / C.E.O. Mr. Issa Baluch.
