- United Arab Emirates: Thursday, September 18 - 2003 at 12:22
- PRESS RELEASE
DHL, the Emirates' leading air express provider, has joined forces with Dubai police to ensure the speedy and safe delivery of essential materials anywhere in the emirate during its busiest season ever.
General Manager for the UAE David Wild said, "This is the company's most visible support of the Dubai government to date and we were pleased to be of assistance. Members of the public have kindly been calling DHL to alert us to what they thought was an incident involving one of our vans only to find out that it was another example of how governments and private sector can successfully work together."
The DHL vans will continue their high profile work for the next two weeks.
