- United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, January 30 - 2002 at 12:03
- PRESS RELEASE
Abbey National Plc, which operates a fully-fledged representative office in Dubai, has launched a series of new customer-centric initiatives in line with its policy of 'taking the bank to the client.'
A change in opening hours of its Dubai office is also on the cards from next month, which includes a late night opening on Mondays until 8pm and a Sunday-Thursday operation from 9am - 6pm.
"Additionally the telephone service in our offices in Jersey and the Isle of Man will now operate from 8am-8pm UK time from Monday to Friday which means clients can get queries answered up until midnight UAE times, even on Fridays," said Mike Brighton, General Manager, Dubai Representative Office, Abbey National Offshore.
"We are conscious that our clients have busy work schedules and many people find it inconvenient to see us during normal office hours," said Brighton. "We are hoping that clients will find the new hours better suited to their needs."
