Dubai Islamic Bank is to host a reception for the delegates of the IMF/World Bank Annual Meetings (Dubai 2003) on Tuesday, September 23, at the Jumeirah Ballroom, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Dubai.
Commenting on the importance of the reception as a forum for the promotion of Islamic Finance amongst the 'who's who' of the global financial community, Mr. Butti Khalifa Bin Darwish, CEO, Dubai Islamic Bank, said: "The reception will unite key members of the global financial community with experts on Islamic Finance. It will allow for conventional bankers to exchange information and views with their Islamic finance peers. Dubai Islamic Bank is proud to be part of the Annual Meetings and recognizes the importance of this event in promoting Islamic finance."
The reception will be attended by over 300 delegates and will provide networking opportunities for the global and regional financial leaders.
