Dubai Solar Park launched in renewable energy programme

As part of the Integrated Energy Strateg 2030 initiative Dubai is to set up the largest solar park in the region with the aim of producing 1000 megawatts of electricity from the rays of the sun. The Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum Solar Park will be the focus of a new solar energy programme launched in Dubai which aims to generated 5% of Dubai's energy from solar power by 2030.
