Almasa IT Distribution to meet the Middle East Channel during GITEX 2003

Almasa IT Distribution, one of the leading network solutions and hardware distribution specialists in the Middle East, today announced that they are hosting a Channel Emporium 19-23 October 2003 at Emirates Towers, Dubai.
Mr. Parvez Ahmed, Sales & Marketing Director said, "While providing sales support to our valued resellers at GITEX Shopper, we will be taking the time to meet with all our channel and vendor partners in the calm, business environment of our own space at the Emirates Towers."
Almasa Distribution traditionally uses this time to meet all of its Middle East channel partners and international vendor partners to review the previous sales results, set objectives for future sales and to agree joint marketing promotions.
Mr Ahmed continued, "The latter part of the year is always a busy and profitable part of the year for technology sales. With record sales in Q2 of over $24 million per month, we will be taking special care to work with our partners to remain focused and driven."
The decision to host partners outside of the main GITEX exhibition halls was made because Almasa Distribution is one of the enviable positions of being well known and having established relationships with its resellers. Mr Ahmed said, "Since we opened our offices through the region in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kuwait and Lebanon we have built stronger ties with our resellers. Where previously this exhibition was a valuable opportunity to meet our resellers, we are now located in the same cities as most of our resellers so this meet is now part of an ongoing dialogue with established partners for them to meet Almasa Distribution's directors and work on ideas to grow business."
While a top level team of directors and managers of over a dozen will be at Emirates Towers to meet channel and vendor partners, a great deal of support will have already of been offered to resellers with space at GITEX Shopper. Almasa Distribution has been offering a number of promotions, product by product, which includes a number of bundle offers. The region's leading distributor also extends their credit lines for resellers they work closely with during this period.
"Perhaps one of the major areas where we offer support is in the area of warehousing and logistics," explains Ahmed. "At Almasa Distribution we recognise that our resellers have a higher turnover of fast moving products during GITEX and to support this we offer increased facilities to ensure that our partners never reach a stock-out situation. This keeps our resellers partner's cash flow keen and at the same time increases their sales and profits."
Almasa Distribution Channel Emporium runs 19-23 October 2003 in Emirates Towers Hotel and their limousine service can be picked up outside the main exhibition halls at the World Trade Centre on a regular basis throughout each day, or upon prior confirmation from other areas in Dubai.
