Union National Bank signs an agreement with The Shared Electronic Banking Services Company

Union National Bank (UNB) signed an agreement with "The Shared Electronic Banking Services Company (KNET)" in Kuwait to provide support services for UNB Kuwait, through interconnecting UNB Kuwait via KNET switch.
KNET is the National Switch of Kuwait interconnecting local banks in the state of Kuwait.
Mr. Safar KNET Chairman commented "We are delighted to welcome UNB on board as the seventh bank functioning in Kuwait through KNET services We are pleased to fulfil this fruitful cooperation and we look forward to further success and development."
Safar also added that "KNET has partnered with various strategic companies in Kuwait including similar banks".
Mr. Abdula Alrashedi SVP & Head of Management Service Group at UNB commented "We are committed to providing our customers with tailored financial solutions that meet their various needs and add extra value to their daily transactions.
We are pleased to tie up with KNET and appreciate the support they have provided for our branch in Kuwait. KNET services will further add to our customer's convenience while upholding the highest quality standards."
Alrashedi also pointed out that "Kuwait is amongst the fastest growing economies in the region and UNB aims to capitalise on the opportunities presented by the expanding economy of Kuwait."
