Organised by Fairs & Exhibitions Ltd, Gulf Pack's project manager Sharla Hancock says that 'the packaging industry has given the event a big thumbs up, from both local exhibitors and those coming from overseas. We are delighted with the response so far with around 35 exhibitors signed up from 15 countries. And still a year to go!
'The most recent addition to our formidable list of exhibitors committed to Gulf Pack '04 is Falcon Packaging Equipments, member of Falcon Group of Companies, from Sharjah. They are leading manufacturers and dealers of catering disposables products and packaging materials', said Ms Hancock. 'Their product range of over 1,500 items includes a wide range of equipment and consumables'.
According to Falcon Pack's general manager Mahmoud Ibrahim, Falcon represent a variety of leading suppliers and manufacturers from Europe and the Far East. 'We represent various companies like vacuum packaging specialists, Henkelman from Holland, shrink wrapping machines from Italdibipack in Italy, sleeve wrapping machines from Belca of Spain and conveyors (flat and gravity roller) from Bestpack in Taiwan'.
'We consider Gulf Pack as one of the biggest exhibitions of its kind in the Middle East. This is a great opportunity to generate awareness of our company not only locally, but also internationally. Falcon is always striving to achieve greater heights in the field of packaging,' added Mr Ibrahim.
Gulf Pack takes place in Dubai between 19-22 September 2004 at the Dubai Airport Expo Centre. It combines an exhibition, packaging seminar led by the Tetra Pak, and an innovation awards. Gulf Pack will run in parallel with its sister show, Gulf Print.
