Cirrus Software Labs announces participation at GITEX Dubai 2003

Primarily involved in providing Business Intelligence ERP and Supply Chain Management Solution for International Trading and Mid Sized Manufacturing industries in the GCC, North Africa and offshore development services in UK, CSL shall be exhibiting as a Dubai Internet City (DIC) partner within the DIC Community Zone.

CSL will be using GITEX Dubai 2003 as a platform for formally announcing the launch of its Business Intelligence ERP solution - cirrussoft.net. Specifically designed with the businessman's perspective in mind, this product has been developed on Microsoft.net technology and harnesses the power of the today's wired world.

Cirrussoft.net has been designed on the firm belief that positive ROI happens through enhancements in the business process's efficiency. ERP software alone, no matter how good it is, cannot generate direct returns in case the same pre-ERP business processes are continued. The objective is to judiciously use ERP to provide Information sharing, web services, authorization and thereby Perfect Controls during the course of regular business transactions, which are worth millions. The timely sharing of information between various departments can save a huge amount of money over a period of time which otherwise would have lost owing to failure to notice small but important details. Further, each transaction passes through the various authorizations so that its execution is tightly monitored. Information can be accessed by, or provided to, feet on street through hand held devices like PDAs or Mobile phones.

Apart from the world-class development centre at Chennai in India, CSL operates a fully-fledged marketing, implementation and support office in DIC. The Indian wing has been providing supply chain management solutions for downstream distribution chains to Johnson & Johnson, Nestle, Unilever (HLL), ITC Limited and Marico Industries amongst many others in India. This tried and tested chain management solution will also be exhibited during GITEX.

The DIC Community Zone is located in the new Sheikh Rashid Hall at the Dubai World Trade Centre's (DWTC's) Dubai International Exhibition Centre and will be open from 10am until 7pm during GITEX Dubai 2003. CSL will be located at stand number 25 within the Zone.
