Toshiba scores a market 'first' with three-in-one notebook

Three new additions to Toshiba's popular Satellite 1900 notebook series are destined to become the most sought-after multimedia products on the market, the company says.

The new range comprises innovatively-designed notebooks featuring cutting-edge technology, superior entertainment capabilities, on-board communications, and an extensive range of software.

The high-end Satellite 1900-704 enables users to fully experience wireless computing and enjoy home video editing, multimedia capabilities and robust data back-up capabilities

It includes a 2.5GHz Intel Pentium 4 processor, 512MB DDR SDRAM, 60GB hard disk drive, 16" TFT Super Fine Screen, the latest NVIDIA GeForce4 440 Go graphics processing unit (GPU) with 64MB DDR VRAM and DVD-R/RW capabilities.

The high-end model comes with a full-size detachable wireless keyboard, wireless optical mouse and optional easy-to-upgrade wireless connectivity (IEEE 802.11b).

The Satellite 1900-303 and 1900-305 models feature an Intel Pentium 4 processor up to 2.4GHz, 512MB DDR SDRAM, a 30GB hard disk drive, 15" TFT screen, DVD/CD-RW and a ATI Mobility Radeon graphics chip with 32MB VRAM.
