The new VPL-CS6 and VPL-CX6 projectors have been developed to meet the changing operating demands whilst preserving the sophisticated design and user-friendly operating features found in the predecessor models. Both models now feature a new short throw lens and low fan noise for smaller meeting environments. To guard against unauthorised operation, the VPL-CS6 and VPL-CX5 now also feature password security software.
As with the VPL-CS5 and VPL-CX5, when the power key is pressed, the new projectors will automatically initiate the set-up procedure; opening the protective lens cover, adjusting the height, and correcting the keystone setting to the pre-set level. A presenter is then able to focus on their presentation without the interference of any projector operation. At a weight of just 2.7kg, the VPL-CS6 and VPL-CX5 projectors are easy to transport.
The VPL-CS6, the new 1800 ANSI lumen SVGA projector, is a cost-effective choice for less-complex graphical presentations. The new top of the line VPL-CX6 provides a spectacular brightness of 2000 ANSI lumens as well as a native resolution of XGA. The VPL-CX6 also features Memory Stick function, making it ideal for the PC-less presentation. Additionally, Projector StationTM Version 4.2 software is available with the VPL-CX6, enabling even easier transfer of files or conversions of PowerPoint presentations.
